Happy Birthday

Hello, I have a card today for the MFT Color Challenge.  These colors were actually a bit tricky for me.

I used a new stamp, Etched Flower.  I is so beautiful and I tried to emphasize  the beautiful line work.  I am definitely going to experiment with this one a bit more.  I also use Diagonal Stripes and Label Tape.

Supplies:
Paper:  Recollections and scraps
Ink:  Versafine and Memento
Stamps:  MFT

MFT Birthday Project

Good morning friends!  Have you ever worked on a card way too long and finally you just put it to bed?  My card today took a while to create, and you would never know by how simple it looks.  Sometimes I just over think things.  I still have a bit of a learning curve when it comes to making shaker cards, and I was determined to make it happen.  My card is for the MFT Birthday Project.

I used the adorable MFT Otterly Love You stamp and die set, and MFT shaker pouches.  I added Perfect Pearls to the otters.  A bit difficult to photograph, but it does look cute and sparkly in person.

Supplies:
Paper: Neenah and card base from Michaels
Ink: MFT and Versafine
Stamps:  MFT
Dies:  MFT
Other:  MFT shaker die and pouches, Sequins from Lucy's Little Things, Perfect Pearls and Copic markers

Happy Heart Day

My card today is for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 21.  I know I have said this many, many times, but I LOVE Lawn Fawn.  The images are so sweet and they always inspire me.  Here is their current inspiration photo.

Here is my card....

I used another older stamp from Hero Arts, Tiny Heart Background for the background panel.  The card base was a "find" from Michaels.  I am always on the look out for sale items that speak to me.  This card base has a fun ombre blue background.  I knew I would need it someday!

Supplies:
Paper:  Card from Michaels and Neenah
Ink:  Versafine, VersaColor and MFT
Stamps:  HA and LawnFawn
Dies:  Sizzix and Lawn Fawn
Other:  String from stash, mini clothes pin from Michaels, felt, Wink of Stella and Copic Markers

January 2018 PTI Blog Hop

Well, it has been forever since I posted.  I guess I have been hibernating a little.  It has been way to cold, but I think we are finally turning the corner.  Taking down Christmas decorations kept me busy too.  I needed to get my mojo jump started so I am giving the January PTI Blog Hop a try.
I love this cheerful and festive photo!

My card....

I used an older stamp set, Half and Half to add a graphic background element.  The Peonies on Parade were stamped and colored on water color paper with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  The sentiment is from Heart 2 Heart #2.

Supplies:
Paper:  White card stock and Arches Watercolor Paper
Ink:  Versafine
Stamps:  PTI
Dies:  PTI
Other:  HA gems and Wink of Stella

A Doll's Christmas

Just wanted to share my doll Christmas tree.  I used the Papertrey Ink die set, Tiny Town.  They are so much fun to make.  I tried to use colors of the homes in my neighborhood.  They are all made from cardstock and vellum.  I also added the sweet little PTI, Stitched Bird for additional ornaments.  They are made with sequins and felt.  The dolls are dressed in their pajamas waiting for Santa!

Holiday Greetings

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I just came back from a walk with my dog, Molly.  I had to walk off some of that turkey!  I have a card today for the LawnFawnatics Challenge #17.  This is their color inspiration,

and this is my card...

I had so much fun with this little scene.  I started with that adorable Lawn Fawn plaid paper, and used it as the color scheme to follow the inspiration.  The clouds and bottom area were blended with a mix of two Distress Oxide inks, Iced Spruce and Broken China.  I think the colors made a nice wintery look.  The houses and trees were colored with Copics and highlighted with Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella and Icicle Stickles.

Supplies:
Paper:  HA card, Lawn Fawn and Neenah
Ink:  Distress Oxide, MFT and Versafine Smokey Gray on the sentiment
Stamps:  Lawn Fawn
Dies:  Lawn Fawn
Other:  MFT stencil, Copic markers, Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents and Stickles
