Hello friends. It has been a month since I posted. I hope you are well. Finally the snow is off the ground, and the hint of spring is here. I need to make a few Easter cards. I have wanted to use this cross die from MFT for a while. I think it worked out nice with the MFT stencil backround and the Mini Rolled Roses.
I have a card for PTI Win It Wednesday, Fabulous Favorites #3. This challenge is to use your favorite die. I used the Basket Cover Plate and the Fruit Salad Cherries Die. I also used a mixture of Distress Oxide Inks on the basket, and PTI papers on the Fruit Salad die.
I have a card for Laurie's Fabulous Favorites. I used the fun set Enjoy the Ride. I also used some favorite patterned papers, Argyle Socks and Vintage Cream. In addition, I am also entering my card in the Simon Says Monday Challenge, Things With Wheels.
We have had some bitter cold weather in upstate NY lately. My mojo is at an all time low, and I am trying to push the creative button! I guess the Christmas holidays did me in a bit too. My happy news is my daughter Sarah got married in January. Her husband Frederick is the best, and just like another son. I am very happy for them!
I have a card today for the current Lawn Fawn Challenge #45, Lots of Love. I just love the Poka Dot Heart Backdrop, the Scripty XOXO, and the How You Bean Conversation Add Ons. They are so adorable! I covered the Scripty XOXO with Martha Stewart Kunzite Glitter. I also used my new Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. I am also entering my card in The SSS Wednesday Calenge, Anything Goes.
Supplies: Paper: HA card, PTI and Neenah Ink: GinaK and Versafine Stamps: Lawn Fawn Dies: Lawn Fawn Other: Faber-Castell colored pencils
Many of you know that I like to sew doll clothes. It all started with my grandmother, years ago. I recently was the lucky winner of an American Girl doll and a custom outfit from PixieFaire. This adorable outfit is from Seams to Streams. I just love it! It has inspired me to get busy sewing again!
Hello friends, I have two cards today with similar colors and design. I am entering them in the YNS #104 challenge, Anything Goes. I am also entering my cards in the SSS Christmas Challenge. I just love the YNS Holly Berry Panel. It is sure to become one of my holiday favorites. It was a bit tedious to die cut and place all the elements, but the outcome is so worth it! As usual, the foil sections are not easy to photograph.
Paper: HA Cards, MFT and scraps
Stamps: YNS Word Critters Winter Birds and YNS Home for the Holidays
