This photo was taken in Washington, DC in 1955. My Aunt Katherine took this picture while we were visiting the National Christmas Tree. In the picture are from left to right, Patricia Nixon, my sister Marcia, Me and Julie Nixon. I am staring at these other girls to figure out why my Aunt has made such a fuss over how important they are. They did not look different to me.
Wow, what a keepsake you have there! So nice to see your new blog! I love the quote you chose over there on the right. I just recently started a blog also, and it has been so much fun playing around with the backgrounds, fonts, colors, etc etc etc that I wonder why it took me so long to get here!! I'm officially your first follower! Looking forward to see what you have in store in the coming months......
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! The one in your banner is magical. I started a blog a few months ago and have really been enjoying myself. I look forward to checking yours frequently!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo Nancy and I love how you were trying to figure out why all the fuss was being made about the Nixon girls. The photo of your Mam and Dad is fantastic too. I remember seeing it before and love it - it's such a happy photo. I'll be back again and again to visit Nancy! Thanks for starting your wonderful blog.
