Spring is Here

This is another entry for the current monthly challenge on the Hero Arts blog, Spring and Easter.  It has been a while since I designed a scrapbook page.  I decided to document the blizzard of 2010.  I had a lot of fun with this, and practiced my distressing skills as well. The picture of the crocus is currently right outside my front door, and the photo in the snow was taken in my back yard.

I used papers from Bazzill and The Paper Company.  All stamps are Hero arts.  The letters were stamped with Scattered Flowers (S5129) and embossed in white.  They were then cut using a Sizzix die.  The other text was printed from my computer, and distressed with Tim Holtz, antique linen.  The flower petals were cut with Nestabilities.  The bottom scallops were cut with Sizzix and stamped with the Floating Leaf Pattern (S5055) using just Versamark.  The bird is from Fanciful Swirl Alphabet (CL141), and the bug is from Woodland Creatures (CL261).
