Happy Birthday

This is my second entry for the current Hero Arts monthly challenge, Birthdays, Grads and Dads.  I like the funky look of classic etched images against ledger paper.  It is an interesting contrast, and I think it makes for a fun card. 

The ledger paper is from KI Memories, Love Elsie.   I used two Hero Arts stamps.  The sentiment is from Big Candles and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.  The strawberries are from Engraved Fruits and they were stamped with Versafine, Smokey Gray.  The border was cut with a Fiskars border  punch and lastly added Hero Arts green pearls and a basic ribbon from Michaels.

    I loved this card when I first saw it on Flickr! It has such a lovely old-fashioned style. Thanks for sharing the how-tos for making it, I may need that clear Engraved Fruit set, you've sold me!
