Merry Merry Merry

I finally had some time to make another Christmas card.  This one is for the Hero Arts monthly challenge, Holiday Cardmaking.

The papers are from BasicGrey and from my scraps.  I used some of my old Hero Arts stamps and some of my new ones as well.  I wanted it to look like a night scene, so I inked the Village stamp in Versafine, Smokey Gray.  The Starry Sky stamp was embossed with Ranger, Queens Gold I needed a tree branch to fit the scene so I drew it myself, and filled in with the Designer Woodgrain stamp.  I stamped it with black and used two of Tim Holtz Distress inks to give shadow and dimension. (VintagePhoto and Pumice Stone)  The owl and the sentiment were also stamped in black and the owl was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  Added ribbon and holly.
