Mother's Day Card

I have been wanting to experiment with my new PTI stamp set, Friendship Jar, and it seemed perfect for a Mother's Day card.  I also discovered that Wee Memories  is having a paper piecing challenge this week so I will be entering my card in the Scrappy Saturday Challenge #54.

I used my Prismacolor pencils over the PTI Bitty Dot Basics paper, and elevated the two tulips in front.  I left some of the white paper showing when piecing, so the flowers would stand out against the background.  I also added a little random shine with White Pearls embossing powder. Unfortunately it is not photographing so well.  I thought the green vellum over the jar gave the effect of green glass.  I am happy with the way this turned out.

Supplies:
Paper:  PTI, Paper Pizazz, white card stock
Inks:  Versafine and VersaMark
Stamps:  PTI
Dies:  PTI, Nestabillities
Other:  Prismacolor pencils, Gamsol, Offray ribbon, Hero Arts gems, Stampendous, White Pearls embossing powder,  Helmar V2, vellum adhesive
