My card today is for the August Hero Arts monthly challenge. It is by no means CAS! I am using one of the sketches for my design. I forgot how much fun embossing can be. It is still one of my all time favorite techniques. I like the way this turned out, especially the "Old Letter Writing" contrasted on the graphic paper.
Supplies:
Paper: October Afternoon, Bazzill and DCWV
Ink: Versamark and Antique Linen, Distress Ink
Stamps: Hero Arts digital, Old Letter Writing and HA stamps
Dies/Punches: PTI and OLFA compass cutter
Other: Heidi Swappe edge distresser, Ranger and Tsukineko embossing powders, and HA dots

ReplyDeleteNancy it's so great to see you posting!!! You've been missed:). Hope you've been having the delightfully cooler temps in your neck of the woods! The minute they dropped into the 70's here I immediately turned off the a/c and threw open the sashes!! Feels wonderful to be breathing fresh air again! I LOVE your card!! The colors and the embossing are awesome!! Hugs, Robin:)
