Hello creative friends, and Happy World Card Making Day. I made this card for the OWH World Card Making Blog Hop, but for some unknown reason Blogger did not publish it at the scheduled time, and it was not linked properly. This is my first time scheduling a post, and I may have done something wrong:) My cards were received by OWH, and that is really all that matters.
I used OWH Sketch #84 for this card.
And here is my card…..
Supplies:
Paper: Bazzill
Ink: Versafine
Stamps: Hero
Arts
Dies/Punches:
Tag, ODBD and bow, Martha Stewart
Other: Sakura
white pen
Nancy, the link didn't work (although I could see your card), but when I clicked on "home" on your blog header, it took me to your blog hop post,so hopefully everyone else will find it, too! I love the way you stamped on the kraft and then used the larger house on a tag - fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI found your post! (just clicked your heading to find it)...love the monochromatic card!
ReplyDeleteI got here the same way.. glad I did.. what a cute card. thanks for sharing ~ Pam
ReplyDeleteNancy, it's adorable! I love the way you used similar images for both the background and main panel! Beautifully done! Happy WCMD - and hugs! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty and elegant. I really love the Simplicity of the Kraft with the white accents. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!!! Thanks for the stunning idea!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hopping!
Love your card because kraft makes lovely cards where the sentiment and stamping really show up! (not competing with patterned paper!) and the monochromatic aspect makes the message more intense and up-front!
ReplyDeleteI love the monochromatic look you chose for this card. The details are lovely and it will certainly stand out in a sea of green, red, and blue to someone who would like a unique card!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this, Nancy! First time I've seen that background stamp in action- it is perfect with the big house!
ReplyDeleteIt's "Krafty". Love the colorway - it works so well for all occasions.
ReplyDeleteI love the krafty mono look of this card!

ReplyDeleteHow stunning!! I just used that background stamp in a class but didn't buy it...now that I see your card, I regret it. Looks like another trip to the stamp store!

Cute card, I the use of die cut shape for the stamped image. I wonder if another "nestle" mat around the stamped image say in cranberry, would make your stamped "pop" a bit more?
ReplyDeleteI like how you've replicated the background houses on the main panel. And LOVE the white accents on the kraft. Happy WCMD!
ReplyDeleteThe brown ink on the kraft has a nice homey feel to it...makes me think of gingerbread for some reason. I like the touch of white snow too. Thanks for hopping with us today!
