Hello friends. I have finished my card for the second day of camp. The theme is Sensational Sliders Well, I made my first slider and it is nice, but I am not sure it is sensational. It was difficult to find a stamp in my collection that works with this theme.
I used this sweet Pure Incense Stamp Set. The background paper is MFT Homespun Gingham mounted on Neenah card stock. The panel with the slider was inked on watercolor paper and then blended to coordinate with the gingham. I used a new paper to me for the copic coloring. X-Press it Blending Card. It is specially formulated to use with Copics. It has a smooth smooth finish. I like it very much. I tried to make her hat look like one of those old felt hats. It was a good lesson for my first slide, but I think I need to explore a bit more to become sensational. I like it and it was fun to make. I had a stuffed bunny when I was little, and he was called Peachey because he had peach colored fur. That's the inspiration for this bunny.
Supplies:
Paper: Neenah, MFT Homespun Gingham and X-Press It Bending Card,
Ink: MFT Hybrid, and Versafine
Stamps: Adventure is Calling
Dies: Adventure is Calling matching dies and reticular dies
What a sweet card! I don't have any slider dies nor the time to make my own so I went with googly eyes that was mentioned at the end of the video! I commend you for making a cute slider!
