If you follow the Papertrey Ink Blog, you know that one of their designers, Dawn McVey, has been dealing with serious health issues, and PTI has organized a blog hop to show our support.
When I first started stamping and blogging over seven years ago, I did a search and found Dawn's blog. It was just what I needed to inspire me. She had so much wonderful information about this craft and how to get started. The rest is history. I will always be grateful for her kind and thoughtful encouragement, and I am praying for her recovery.
I decided to go with a fall theme and try the new craft of sewing on cards. I used an old die cut, Strip Stitch Die. I don't think it was originally intended for this, but it turned out pretty good! I finished my card with another die cut, Empossed Leaf. No stamping today.
Supplies:
Paper: PTI
Dies: PTI
Other: PTI felt, DMC floss and SSS sequins
