Hello Spring

I am so ready for Spring.  Can you tell?  This card is my entry for the Hero Arts monthly challenge, Spring and Easter.  I used a number of Hero Arts stamps.  I love all their Clear Design sets because you can mix and match all the stamps.  The greeting is CL044, Pattern Alphabet; along with hello from CL380, Truly Appreciated.  I cut the hello from the longer greeting, just saying hello.  I was a little afraid to cut my stamps, but I decided that if Jennifer McGuire says it's okay, then it is so!   The flowers are from my new cling stamp, CG133, Color Me Flowers.  The leaves are from LP132, Designer Leaves.  And last, but not least, the little dragonfly is from CL153, Happy Day Animals.  I used two inks.  For the flowers I used a Colorbox Cats Eye Queue.  I can't identify the color mix because the wording has rubbed off the container from so much use.  The green ink is VersaMagic, Spanish Olive.  I embossed hello with Queens Gold from Ranger.  By accident, some of the embossing powder stuck to the other words because the ink was not quite dry.  I decided that I  liked the look of a sprinkle of gold.  The papers are from Frances Meyer and Bazzill.  I have also discovered  that I love "stripes."  I have been using them quite a bit lately.  They somehow seem cheerful to me, and add an extra graphic element.  The grass was cut with a Sizzix die, and the green pearls are also from Hero Arts.
