This is my entry for the current monthly challenge on the Hero Arts Blog, Home and Mother's Day.
The striped paper (here I go again) is from Hot off the Press and the other paper is from scraps. The background was stamped with Hero Arts Floating Leaf Pattern (S5055). I love this stamp. It was the first stamp I used on my first entry in the Hero Arts challenges, almost one year ago. I always come back to it. It was stamped with Versamark and clear embossed. The colors on the background are two distress inks from Tim Holtz, Weathered Wood and Peeled Paint. The circular images are also from a Hero Arts set, Circular Designs (CL124) They were stamped with Versafine Spanish Moss and Deep Lagoon.
The sentiment was printed from my computer. The circles were cut with Sizzix, and the flowers were cut with Nestabilities. Lastly, I added these "bubble like" gems. They look like water droplets. I do not know who makes these.
the colors on the background of the floating leaf pattern piece is amazing! beautiful card!
