I finally had a chance to play with the "chalkboard" technique that I am seeing everywhere. It is a bunch of FUN! I didn't want the whole card to be black, so I opted for a chalkboard panel. This great video was posted on the OWH blog, and it really helps with this technique. I love this quirky background die cut from PTI too.
